About UsStill I Rise From Cancer, Inc. is a 501 c 3 Organization with a mission to help women that are going through cancer.
Many chemotherapy drugs cause hair loss. This greatly affects a cancer patient’s self-esteem, especially women. Some women are so averse to losing their hair, that they actually refuse to have chemotherapy. The cancer patient, who is already dealing with many physical and emotional factors, cannot escape the fact for even one moment that he or she has cancer when the hair is lost. |

We are dedicated to helping women that have to go through grueling treatments, We want to enable them the ability to fight with dignity and grace. We want women to look as much themselves as possible while going through chemo therapy and our services can aid women in obtaining cold caps for saving their hair as well as high quality wigs. We provide funding to cancer patients who want to keep their hair by equipping them with the latest cold cap technology and providing assistance including education regarding the use of cold caps,

Our History |
Still I Rise From Cancer Inc., was founded by R&B singer Tarsha Rodgers who wanted to maintain her appearance for shows and events and not lose her hair. She did not want to look like what she was going through. Cancer had already taken so much from her and she did not want to lose her hair. She successfully used Cold Caps through out her cancer treatment. The name Still I Rise From Cancer comes from Tarsha's song "Still I Rise" which she wrote while dealing with Breast Cancer.
